"Exodus Rapture Model"

Exodus Rapture Archetype

1.  Egypt is this world.

2.  Pharaoh and his minions are Satan and the demons.  Pharaoh is a type of restrainer.  Yes it is also, God and the Holy Spirit.  God raises up Pharaoh, hardens his heart and finally cause him to let the people go, and also to go after them.

3.  The first born who die are current World Leaders.

4.  The desert and the Red Sea is the sky.

5.  The Mountain Moses receives the commandments at is a level of Heaven.

6.  The Promised land is indeed our fulfillment of Heaven.

7.  Moses, Aaron and the rest are levels and divisions of men and leaders.  The men are allowed to go first by the restrainer, so they can worship and be taught.  This is also in the archetypes of King David and Gideon (see other studies).

Exodus 7

4 he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites.

Exodus 8

 25 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land."

 26 But Moses said, "That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us? (isn’t this true anymore today.  Society does not respect or allow true worship of our Holy God) 27 We must take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, as he commands us." (3 day testing, sacrifice, death and resurrection)

Exodus 10

10 Pharaoh said, "The LORD be with you—if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil. [a] 11 No! Have only the men go; and worship the LORD, since that's what you have been asking for." Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh's presence.

13 So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the LORD made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. (Rapture? – 10/13, see Daniel 10:13, 21 days and 21 days from 9/23 to 10/13 Hoshanah Rabbah, last day of the feast of Tabernacles and the sealing of final judgment from Rosh Hashanah)

By morning the wind had brought the locusts;  (the beginning of tribulation)

 24 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, "Go, worship the LORD. Even your women and children may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind."

Exodus 11

 4 So Moses said, "This is what the LORD says: 'About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. (son may stand for leadership.  All former worldly leadership will die and new leadership will take it’s place – as a sign to those who would believe, but also so that the new world order may come in and fulfill what is written).

Exodus 12

This is important since for our Rapture journey we must have the blood of the lamb on the doorpost of our hearts and also ingest it quickly and it is roasted over fire, from the trials of this world – preparation for the next.  If we are to pass through the waters of judgment, then we must have the blood of the lamb and also ingest the lamb (Jesus said we must eat of his flesh).

Exodus 13

14 "In days to come, when your son asks you, 'What does this mean?' say to him, 'With a mighty hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed every firstborn in Egypt, both man and animal. This is why I sacrifice to the LORD the first male offspring of every womb and redeem each of my firstborn sons.' 16 And it will be like a sign on your hand and a symbol on your forehead that the LORD brought us out of Egypt with his mighty hand."

As always Satan has only a cheap copy of what God has.  As the world will be told to take the sign of the Beast, God’s remnant will be taking the sign of the Lord on the forehead and hand.  In the end there are only two choices – God or Satan.  Whose mark will you take?  If you have been chosen to be part of the Raptures then you will be in a position to take God’s mark.  If not, a tribulation saint martyr.

Crossing the Sea

 17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." 18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. [a] The Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle.  (notice that the Israelites are armed for battle.  When we leave Egypt/this world, we will be armed for battle.  We are not ready yet or battle tested – same as Israel).

19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the sons of Israel swear an oath. He had said, "God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place." (carry my bones up, a reference to the dead in Christ being raised up)

 20 After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. 21 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud (Rapture) to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

The Rapture may not be as easy as some think.  I believe there is a war to fight, with Pharaoh being Satan and the desert being the sky and our journey to Heaven to be with God.  I don’t pretend to have an exact understanding, but I do believe there are many Archetypes with which are given to us for understanding.  The Israelites many times want to return to Egypt.  Be prepared for a difficult journey to the Promised Land.

Notice this following passage. Certainly Paul gave us a great lesson as for living in this world and prayer, but may this also be prophetic?  Notice it is in verse 6 and again we see the numbers 10 & 13.  Possible pointing to 10.13.06 as a special date?  We can’t know for sure.

Ephesians 6:10-13 (New International Version)

The Armor of God

 10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Exodus 14

6 So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him. 7 He took six hundred of the best chariots, along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them.

Notice Pharaoh goes after the Israelites with chariots.  The Rapture vehicle of Elijah and possibly the vehicle or archetype for the vehicle of the skies.

10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the LORD. (notice it says “looked up”).

I am not sure how this happens to be exact, but it surely gives us a model for our deliverance from Satan and the demons hand:

13 Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

 15 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen."

Again, I can’t know exactly, but you can see the Angel of the Lord, clouds and a pillar of fire involved.

19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,

Now you can see that it is again a strong East wind mentioned.  Remember when Pharaoh gave permission for the men to go?  It was a strong East wind driving locusts into the land.

22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.

Some amazing spiritual opening.  Surely all the new agers think they know that something like this is approaching.  All the alien stuff is helpful for the deception.  We shall be able to walk to Heaven on dry ground.  Dry, without the waters of judgment coming down on us since we are covered by the blood of the lamb.  Mind blowing?  For sure.  Remember God told us in Habakkuk chapter 1 that even if he told us in advance we wouldn’t believe him.

 23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 25 He made the wheels of their chariots come off [b] so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt."

 26 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen." 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward [c] it, and the LORD swept them into the sea. 28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.

 29 But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. 30 That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore. 31 And when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

The Rapture is a “mind blowing” Habakkuk type even that we cannot even imagine.  If there were a physical archetype of what this may be, to the best of our understanding, would it not be the parting of the Red Sea?  Isn’t Egypt a perfect representation of this World System and it’s gods?  Wasn’t Pharaoh considered a god himself and a great representation of Satan?  Are we not in bondage and making bricks without straw?  Won’t it be a Christian Exodus when we leave this truly Godforsaken place?  Won’t Satan hate us when we do leave enough to go after us.  Isn’t parting a sea nearly as “mind blowing” as the Rapture?  What other even would be?  Surely the desert trip, the giants in the promised land, Jordan river, Angel of the Lord and Joshua are all going to happen and come true for us.

Exodus 15

The Song of Moses and Miriam

 1 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD :
       "I will sing to the LORD,
       for he is highly exalted.
       The horse and its rider
       he has hurled into the sea.

 2 The LORD is my strength and my song;
       he has become my salvation.
       He is my God, and I will praise him,
       my father's God, and I will exalt him.

 3 The LORD is a warrior;
       the LORD is his name.

 4 Pharaoh's chariots and his army
       he has hurled into the sea.
       The best of Pharaoh's officers
       are drowned in the Red Sea. [a]

 5 The deep waters have covered them;
       they sank to the depths like a stone.

 6 "Your right hand, O LORD,
       was majestic in power.
       Your right hand, O LORD,
       shattered the enemy.

 7 In the greatness of your majesty
       you threw down those who opposed you.
       You unleashed your burning anger;
       it consumed them like stubble.

 8 By the blast of your nostrils
       the waters piled up.
       The surging waters stood firm like a wall;
       the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.

 9 "The enemy boasted,
       'I will pursue, I will overtake them.
       I will divide the spoils;
       I will gorge myself on them.
       I will draw my sword
       and my hand will destroy them.'

 10 But you blew with your breath,
       and the sea covered them.
       They sank like lead
       in the mighty waters.

 11 "Who among the gods is like you, O LORD ?
       Who is like you—
       majestic in holiness,
       awesome in glory,
       working wonders?

 12 You stretched out your right hand
       and the earth swallowed them.

 13 "In your unfailing love you will lead
       the people you have redeemed.
       In your strength you will guide them
       to your holy dwelling.

 14 The nations will hear and tremble;
       anguish will grip the people of Philistia.

 15 The chiefs of Edom will be terrified,
       the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,
       the people [b] of Canaan will melt away;

 16 terror and dread will fall upon them.
       By the power of your arm
       they will be as still as a stone—
       until your people pass by, O LORD,
       until the people you bought [c] pass by.

 17 You will bring them in and plant them
       on the mountain of your inheritance—
       the place, O LORD, you made for your dwelling,
       the sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established.

 18 The LORD will reign
       for ever and ever."

 19 When Pharaoh's horses, chariots and horsemen [d] went into the sea, the LORD brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground. 20 Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing. 21 Miriam sang to them:
       "Sing to the LORD,
       for he is highly exalted.
       The horse and its rider
       he has hurled into the sea."
