As a Christian I really don’t like Halloween and what it stands for.  Thus I take my kids to a Harvest party vs. going along with all the Satanic/demonic & gore stuff with Halloween.

How to handle Halloween night is a little tougher.  Here is what I came up with and I thought I’d pass it along.  I am having my kids put together 144 sandwich/ziplock bags with 3 pieces of candy each in them with the below scripture verses in them.

144 stands for a witness and the 144 thousand mentioned in Revelation

3 stands for God

Here are the verses I’m using.  I simply printed them out and cut them up into strips to put in the baggies:

1 Thessalonians 4:16 “…and the dead in Christ shall rise first.”

Genesis 1:4 “God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.”
