Daniel 2

Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

43And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

I happened to read a different version of this verse than the NIV, and the above happens to be the King James Version.  The NIV leaves out huge meaning here.  Look as it says “they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men” as a reference to iron and clay.  This clearly is a Nephilim reference.  In the model of Daniel (see other Daniel Rapture Archetype writings) when he interprets Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (a model of correctly watching for Jesus and interpreting the times and the promise of the Rapture), he is called up and promoted to the King’s court.  This matches up nicely with Jesus and how he told the Apostles that it would be as “in the days of Noah”.

The reference to various metal types and then to “clay” is the difference between spiritual and then human/earthly things.

Daniel 3

1Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

2Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

3Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

4Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

5That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

6And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

7Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

This is a reference to the Anti-Christ setting up his kingdom.  Notice it does not reference everyone, but the leadership.  A confirmation that the First Fruits Rapture is before the Antichrist setting up his kingdom.  In verse 4 it says “a herald cried out” – a Revelation/spiritual tie in.

Taking for granted most readers know this passage, I’m skipping to the next part to lend some additional insight:

19Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

20And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

The furnace is heated seven times more, a reference to the Tribulation time and the significant increase in intensity.  Next see that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are cast in by “mighty men” – yet another reference to the Nephilim.

30Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.  The 4th man shows up, and the end result is that they are promoted.

Blessings,

Tony
