Libby,

Thanks for your information.  Black Monday, 1987 was October 19.  19 years ago to the day.

There was also a crash or "correction" on Monday October 19, 1987, known in financial circles as Black Monday, when the Dow Jones lost 22% of its value in one day, bringing to an end a five-year bull run. The FTSE 100 Index lost 10.8% on that Monday and a further 12.2% the following day. The pattern was repeated across the world.

As you said Libby, 77 years from the crash of 1929:

The most famous crash, the Stock Market Crash of 1929, took place in October 1929. After a series of price declines in early October, the market plunged dramatically on October 24th (known as Black Thursday). This was followed by Black Monday and Black Tuesday. At the close of the week of September 3, 1929, the Dow Jones Industrials Index stood at 377. By the close of the week of November 11th, the DJIA stood at 228, a cumulative drop of 39.5%. The markets would rally in succeeding months only to be crushed during the Great Depression.

1929 – 1987:  58 years               1987 – 2006:  19 years

1929 – 2006:  77 years

I am hoping someone who takes a look at the numbers can lend some additional insight.  It seems like a sign.

I do have a book called “Number in Scripture”, and it says 19 is a combination of 10 & 9.  10 being perfection of divine order combined with 9 for judgment.  7 is perfect spiritual order and 11 is disorder – a clash of sorts?  58 is 29 X 2.  29 is 20 the number of expectation (according to this book) and 9 which is judgment.

Anyway, looks like something to take a look at for things to come…

Blessings,

Tony
