"End of Age / End of the Age / End of the World / Gloria Patri Doxology"

One of the most famous Christian phrases is, "End of the Age".  In fact, yesterday, 10/6/2006, the first FiveDoves Post (from Paul N.F.) was titled "The End of the Age".

This hits close to home because since the late 90's I've had the web address www.EndOfAge.com which is a shortening of the phrase "End of the Age".

Ellen had an excellent article, the same day, (10/6/2006):

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/oct2006/elleng106-1.htm

It talked about only the Authorized King James Version being inspired (purified 7 times, 7th revision before authorized in 1611), and uncopyrighted and I came away after reading the article that all the others were copyrighted perversions.  I didn't realize that to be able to copyright something it had to be at least 25% different than anything else.  That is quite a lot of changes.

Well, I knew that the phrase "end of the age" did not appear in the King James version:

...And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.  - Matthew 28:20 NRSV

...and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.  - Matthew 28:20 AKJV

So what great perversion had been introduced with this change?  I ran the numbers as Ellen did in her article:

"end of the age" = 351 (5+50+4+60+6+200+8+5+1+7+5)
"end of age" = 138 (5+50+4+60+6+1+7+5)
"end of the world" = 1022 (5+50+4+60+6+200+8+5+500+60+90+30+4)

The number for "end of the age" is probably one of the most well known numbers, the inverse of the Jesus celestial number 153.  James Harrison in his excellent book, "The Pattern & the Prophecy" goes into the much more detail on 351 representing the satanic, being the inverse of 153, a parody of 153, the Jesus number.  For example, while both 153 and 351 are triangle numbers, 153 is divisible by 3, the trinity number, while 351 is divisible by 13, the false, the satanic trinity number.

Okay, point taken.  But what truth has been perverted?

I see two perversions.  The first perversion is that Jesus said that he was going to be with us always, even unto the end of the age.  But what about the next age?  Isn't Jesus also going to be with us in the next age?  Isn't he not only going to be with us in spirit but physically, ruling from Jerusalem?

The second is hiding the fact that there will be an end to this world.  Jesus equates "always" with end of this "world".  "Always" has a "time" component.  Does it end with the end of this world as is implied?  It does if "time" also ends.  The Bible states that Heaven and Earth shall pass away.  If all matter passes away then time passes away also.  Einstein showed how time, matter, and energy are all tied together.  This makes since if all "matter" is cursed.  God cursed the "ground".

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
  Genesis 3:17

Not just the ground of the 3rd planet but all ground, all "matter".  We cannot live with God in a cursed environment.  We must have a "new" heaven and a "new" earth.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
  Revelation 21:1

In my own defense for using the term "End of Age", I have distinguished between looking towards the end of this age, the Church Age, or the Times of the Gentiles, and looking towards the "End of Days".  The "End of Days" is when not only all days, but all months, years, minutes and seconds come to an end.  It must be after the millennium and the short season.  It is when heaven and earth pass away, (not the "heavenly" heaven but the sky, the stars, the physical universe, all physical matter.)

Enough said.

What I also find interesting is I grew up in Church every Sunday singing the Gloria Patri Doxology.  Whenever there was an offering, when it was taken up front we stood and sang the Doxology.  The words became ingrained in my soul:

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end, Amen, Amen

This Doxology has been around since the 4th Century and is used in many Christian churches.  Yet it states "world without end".  But Matthew 28:20 strictly contradicts this.  I believe the KJV Bible.  The world will end.

Shalom!
