The following was cut and pasted from the forward of the
2nd Edition of a yet to be published book and I haven't gone through and tried
to reword things to eliminate references to the 1st and 2nd Edition of that
book. Just ran out of time. So please overlook the references
and concentrate on the meat and please follow it all the way through to get
to the conclusions. -Thanks
What
pointed to a 2005 Rapture? In the first edition,
32 AD was used throughout as the assumed year of the crucifixion.
From the crucifixion to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, when
not one stone was left upon another, was the period of time Israel was given
to fulfill the “trials and tribulations” because of their rejection
of the Messiah.
And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you,
There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown
down. Matthew
24:2
Jesus states
that this generation shall not pass away. It was
shown that this period of time was analogous with the period of time Israel wandered
in the wilderness for that generation to pass away. The
Bible states they wandered 40 years in the wilderness:
And
the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in
the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that
had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.
Numbers 32:13
From Aviv 10,
(Palm Sunday) to Av 9, (Temple Destroyed) in 70 AD is 13,993 days using 32
AD and 14,380 days using 31 AD, both short of 40 calendar years.
If one divides these numbers of days using 360 days per year one gets
38.87 and 39.94 years respectively. Allowing time
for the stones to cool down and then to be moved off each other could yield
39 and 40 prophetic years respectively. The first
edition used 39 prophetic years by proposing that this could have been said
to have been in the 40th year, making allowances for counting from
1.
In looking
back, applying 39 360-day years to June 7, 1967 did not turn out to be the
correct interpretation of the 40 years stated in the Bible.
However, it would have been wrong not to put this interpretation forward
as it was next on the event horizon. It is also realized that it may
have taken up to a year for Rome to dismantle the stones of the buildings in Jerusalem,
as Scripture does not state just the Temple stones, which would leave 32 AD intact.
It is recorded that Rome not only dismantled
all the stones of the buildings in Jerusalem
but applied salt to the ground around Jerusalem so crops would not even grow.
What
about Today’s Israel? The watershed date for Israel was taken as June 7, 1967 when God gave
the Temple Mount to Israel
and Israel refused
to possess it. Counting 40 prophetic years from
this date, (instead of 39), including this date, (6/7/67 + (360*40) - 1),
brings us to November 8, 2006. This could well
mark the Rapture with the beginning of Jacob’s troubles, the tribulation,
beginning also this day, or after 3 days.
What
about Today’s United
States? The
watershed date for the United States can well be taken as
January 22, 1973 when the Supreme Court ruling on Roe vs. Wade legalized the
aborting of a pregnancy for the purpose of killing the child. Likewise, does the United States have 40 years to repent?
If we can use the same analogy to add 40 prophetic years, (including
the date), to January 22, 1973 we come to June 25, 2012.
Non-Christians are probably asking, “Why do Christians always
seem to take the topic back to “abortion”?”
Is there any
sign of repentance of the United
States? On March 6, 2006, HB 1215 was signed into law in the state
of South Dakota
making it a felony to abort a pregnancy for the purpose of killing the child,
except if it is the only way to save the life of the pregnant mother. South Dakota
is the first state to pass a law that would be a direct challenge to Roe vs.
Wade in 14 years. South
Dakota has a population of 770,000 spread over 77,000
square miles. (Couldn't help but notice the 7's.)
However, before it gets to the Supreme Court, advocates to legalize
the aborting of a pregnancy for the purpose of killing the child have gathered
signatures to force the law to be voted on by all the citizens of South
Dakota under HB 1215. This
vote is scheduled for election Day, November 7, 2006 with the results if it
is close, most likely being in doubt into the next day, November 8, 2006.
This may be
too esoteric for some but notice that the number 1215 used for the South Dakota
bill, (HB 1215) is divisible by 5, leaving 243, which is 3 raised to the 5th
power. The Arithmetic of God has the number 5 standing for Grace.
There but for the grace of God have any of us been allowed to take our first
breath. Both Adam and Eve could have been punished on the spot for their
transgression in the Garden. And that punishment for sin was clearly
understood by them as being death. Rearranging the last two numbers
of 243 we have 234, the dollar amount of Vincent's coins. Taking 234
now times 5 yields 1170 and 11/7, (ignoring the zero as it is nothing), is
the date of the referendum to confirm HB 1215.
In addition,
the US Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on two lawsuits brought by the
“Center for Reproduction Rights” and “Planned Parenthood”
regarding a federal ban against what are called, “partial birth abortions”.
This is when the baby is delivered breach with it’s heart beating
outside the womb. Then the delivery is stopped
with the head yet to be delivered, and then the brain is destroyed.
These arguments are set to be heard on, you guessed it, November 8,
2006.
What
about November 8, 2006? John Tng, the webmaster
for my favorite site where fellow “end of age / rapture” watchers
can post their observations, has posted a remarkable series of articles regarding
watching 11/8/2006 for the rapture. In particular
is the second article, (http://www.fivedoves.com/rapture/118-Part2.htm)
which goes into great detail and insight about the Rapture Quarter, to be
released by the US Mint in October 2006. This
is even more remarkable when you consider John resides in Singapore. This quarter follows the pattern of past recent quarters
since 1999, being dedicated to a particular state; you guessed it, South
Dakota.
Is there anything
that can be added to this extensive analysis? Well,
consider the meanings of the numbers making up the date 11/8/2006 as taken
directly from the book, “The Arithmetic of God”, penned by Don

11 = Judgment
8 = New Birth
2 = Division or Separation
0 = nothing (as it is nothing, only a placeholder)
0 = nothing (as it is nothing, only a placeholder)
6 = Satan, his influence

These three
Presidents fit the meaning of the first three numbers like a glove.
Theodore Roosevelt
= This is a deceptive one. His life appears a
series of contradictions. He started out as a
weak asthmatic child but is described in later life as a charismatic leader
who's strength defined masculinity at the time. He also usually ranked by historians as one of the top
five Presidents. His well known sayings themselves
are contradictions such as, “Speak softly but carry a big stick”.
He was the first American to be awarded the Nobel Prize, winning in
the “Peace” category by negotiating peace between Russian and
Japan. Yet
he is responsible for Panama,
which had been a province of Columbia,
revolting and becoming an independent country when Columbia
wanted too much for the United States
taking over from the French in building the Panama Canal.
He is remembered as a conservationist, yet a safari he promoted and
took part in trapped and/or killed over 11,000 animals.
Satan is also
deceptive, being an Angel of light at times and when he inhabits the antichrist
will be received as the savior of the world. Since
the other three Presidents fit like a glove one must not dismiss too quickly
whether the last doesn’t give us insight into what to expect.
What
about the Tribulation? In the first edition,
much was made about 555 and the dates, 5/5/2000, and 5/5/2005.
Also included was a discussion regarding the date duo 11/11/2005 and
11/14/2005. In like fashion, are the date duo
11/8/2006 and 11/11/2006. The rapture could occur
11/8 with the tribulation closely following on 11/11.
The meaning of 8 is New Birth while the meaning of 11 is judgment.
Likewise note that 5/5/2005 + 555 days = 11/11/2006. And of course
555.5 + 555.5 = 1111. (With 5 meaning grace and 11 meaning judgment,
does that mean that twice grace means the "grace period" is over and then
comes the judgment of the tribulation?)
