I was pondering why the famous Rapture Verses I Thessalonians 4:17-18, if pointing to the 17th and 18th of a month, was not in I Thessalonians 2:17-18 to point towards the 17th Day os the 2nd Month, for example November 8th and 9th.   Then I realized by taking the number one in front of Thessalonians and adding it to the 4 we had 14.  And last year was not a leap year on the Jewish Calendar so from Rosh Hashana of 2005, 10/4/2005 and/or 10/5/2005, to Heshvan 17 of 2006, would make it the 17th day of the 14th month!

I was also pondering whether what is described in verse 17:

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Would be scheduled for the 17th?  And then what is described in verse 18:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Might happen on the 18th?

Just speculation: 

Back to I Thessalonians 4:17.  One could also just take the 4:17 and leaving out the colon and starting in the middle one has 14 backward and 17 forward.  Or one could find the English gematria of the word "Thessalonians" which is 714 which is 17 backward and 14 forward.  And 714 is divisible by both 14 and 17 (leaving 3 left over).
