John, I have been reading all of the numeric hoopla around the possibility of November 8, 2006 being the day of the rapture. How about the simplicity of the Bible. First in Luke 17:26 & 27 Jesus told us: 26: And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.27: They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.If Noah entering the ark is a picture of the church being removed, then look to Genesis 7:11 and find the day Noah entered toe ark.
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened
We all know that day is Cheshvan 17 which is November 8th this year.
Then Genesis 9:28 & 29 tell us when Noah died.
28: And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
29: And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
Since Noah was in the ark 1 year, he must have died 350 years after the beginning of the flood since he was only 950 and he was 600 when the flood began. That would mean Noah died on Cheshvan 17, 2006.
Since Noah was born in 1056 and lived 950 years: 1056 + 950 = 2006.
That would mean effectively, the "days of Noah" ended on Cheshvan 17, 2,006 years after Adam.
Simple Biblical fact, no fancy number games.
