"Welcome back to Sister Marie Komar"

Dear Sister,

It's always good for me to see your name on the daily list of posts. I realize this year has been a tough one for you. The LORD knows the ones who are His, and I know His love and grace are enveloping you, whether you can feel it or not. He will bring you through all this and you will be able to rejoice in Him for all that He has done for you. In the meantime know that you have brothers and sisters in Christ who, having never met you, love you.

About the election. I myself am sick and tired of politics, though I will still vote. Our present elected officials, for the most part, seem to be a contemptible lot--the one party wholly sold over to sin, the other weak-kneed and compromising, and almost as corrupt. I love the land of America and I love the hopeful ideals of our founding fathers and mothers, but the present settlement has but of a germ of the initial ideal in it. As a nation, a great many of us have turned our backs upon God and we are reaping the consequences. All is not yet lost, however. I know we have a God-fearing remnant here, and who knows what spiritual good the Lord can do with us in these final days? This is the only hope I have for America.

God bless you, sister Marie,
Your brother in Christ,
Matt in Hayward, CA
