Dear Doves,
 
JL is only seventeen and she is a victim of gang rape.  She comes from divorced parents and was about to be committed to a detention facility for drug abuse.  Her father was notified because they wanted his medical insurance information.  What a world we live in today.  He wasn't informed that JL needed to be in a drug program.  No, the state would assume that responsibility, just give me your insurance papers please.
 
As soon as her father and stepmother, a very caring person, could bring her home they did so.
The problem is that JL will be eighteen in six months and can go off on her own.  There is a very short window of opportunity to reach JL.  Please pray that JL can be shown that there is another life besides the life of drugs and that she will find Jesus as her Savior.  Please pray for wisdom for her father and his wife.  They also need to know the Savior.  JL's stepmother is friends with several Christians, so we are hoping that we soon see the hand of God in this situation.
