If I didnt know any better, I'de swear  todays current events concerning North Korea and the ramifications of setting off a nuclear device in the Asian region were the events spoken of in Daniel 11:44(News out of the east shall trouble him). If this is true,(North Korea being the catalyst) then we only need to identify the "him" of Daniel 11:44. Despite the fact that the entire world has a responsibilty to confront this very serious problem, in actuality it all boils down to one person: what will George W Bush("him"?) do about this grave threat.
 
One thing seems apparent, Kim Jong does not bluff. He has carried out every threat until now. Unfortunately, he now claims that any attempts by the U.S. implimenting a naval blockade against his country will be seen as an act of war, which, will be met with "physical force". If North Korea does decide to attack american vessels, I could only imagine the "rage" and "anger" stemmimg from america and George W Bush. That would, for all intents and purposes give America a 'green light' to "destroy many". It's interesting to note the close proximity between the events in the Asian region and November 8 and the mid-term elections in America.
 
Of course I'll be the first to acknowledge that I'm not a proponent of setting dates(At this point in time, I just don't "know" the day of the rapture..plain and simple.) In my opinion, setting dates is not worth the subsequent disappointment. However, the timing of North Korea's nuclear test and the month of November is indeed interesting.
 
My gut feeling tells me that the current news coming out of the east is not the fullfilment of Daniel 11:44(if infact Daniel 11:44 is part of the final 3 1/2 years) due to a number of reasons the main being the rapture hasn't happened yet( Yes, I believe the church will escape the most horrific, destructive final 3 1/2 years known to man. Infact, Jesus himself said 'then there shall be great tribulation"). But the uncanny resemblance of current events in the middle east and Asian region as it relates to the book of Daniel makes one wonder if prophecy is being fulfilled RIGHT NOW.
 
 Stay tuned, I'm sure Kim Jong will keep it very interesting to say the least.
