Dear team,

Today Peter and I attended the "sowing" (funeral) of Nesta Russell, beloved Mother of Rebekah.  Rebekah has lost her dear best friend and prayer partner.  Nesta reached 80 and was a flower of perfection, so God picked her and took her to glory.  That was a lovely comment in today's memorials.  Now our Rebekah needs our prayers, for she is left with an invalid father of 87 and a brother Jacob, who is not fully well.  RR is strong in faith and a rock in the Kingdom. Despite the responsibility now of caring for the men in her family (as did her Mother so faithfully), her ministry with us must continue in Israel and elsewhere, plus her nursing career.  I believe that God will ease all of the burdens of this world as Rebekah presses forward.  Nesta's death was sudden, but she had already been preparing for it-- the Lord had told her she would be departing.

Nesta told Rebekah before she died, "The Lord will not come while I am still alive in the earth, but he will come in your time."  This I believe, so we occupy and preach until He comes!

Loving shalom, cd
