I spoke with a friend who is a Liberty University staff member and member at Falwell's church.  He said that is flatly not true, that Falwell has not departed in the least from his biblical beliefs.  He has personally heard Falwell's clarification on the subject and correction of the false report.

Remember, that report came from The Jerusalem Post.  I suspect some Jews are spinning this to their own liking and to say what they would like for him to say, putting the whole biblical message up for question and giving them a "pass" to heaven, bypassing the blood of the atonement.  My friend said that a similar report about John Hagee is also untrue.

We must be careful what we believe, especially coming from news media with an agenda.
