Doves, inspired by Professor Ian Mallett's "Numberbites" and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I believe I have a simple, but profound, confirmation of the date of November 8, 2006 as the Rapture date. This morning as I was talking with the Lord, I asked Him if He would show me in a simple manner, straight from His Word, the day of the Rapture. I know that so many articles have been posted lately on Five Doves that point to November 8, 2006 as THE day, but many of them are using numbers that are not directly from the Bible. Many are arrived at through extra-biblical, but impressive, sources, but I wanted something directly IN the Word. So I asked the Lord to confirm the day to me through a verse that is clearly speaking of the Rapture. I believe He did just that. One of the most often quoted passages in Scripture referring to the Rapture is 1 Thess. 4: 13 - 18:"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."I decided to see if the numbers would confirm the date, using just the three phrases that seem to sum up the Rapture, and for no particular reason other than I think the Holy Spirit guided me, in answer to my prayer, so I wrote down these words:1. and the dead in Christ shall rise first:2. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up3. together with them in the cloudsI calculated the numeric value in English of each word, then of each phrase. The first phrase and the dead in Christ shall rise first has a value of 1529. The second, Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up, has the value of 3152. The third, together with them in the clouds, has the value of 2314. The three phrases total 6995.I was puzzled, because I could not see anything readily that would point to November 8, 2006. So I took that number and subtracted the number of the year it now is on the Jewish calendar, 5767, and got the remainder of 1228. Still it did not mean anything, but then I saw the following groupings of numbers, almost as a mathematical equation:(122) x 8(11 x 11.09) x 8Hmmm... 11, the month of November, 8, the day of the month, and 11.09, could that be referring to the hour of the day, near midnight? I must admit I was eagerly LOOKING for numbers that would confirm this day, and I was a bit perplexed that it did not come out to an even number, such as 11 x 11 x 8. But then I saw the 11.09, took out the zero, and saw 119, which is 911 reversed. 911, the emergency number. Well, skeptics would say this was all contrived, so I was not convinced, but I knew the Lord showed me these words for a reason. Then I realized that I had separated these words into a column, and I had drawn a line below the first phrase and after the second one. Hmm.... I saw then that the first phrase consisted of 8 words:and the dead in Christ shall rise firstthe second phrase consisted of 11 words:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught upAnd the third phrase consisted of 6 words:together with them in the cloudsI burst out laughing, because there it was! 8th day, 11th month, 6th year! A very simple answer to a very simple question!Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. Psalm 119:2

Thanks, Ellen.
The simple date (11-8-06) that you came up with is profound!
