To say that the world is in turmoil would be perhaps the greatest understatement of the last century. I just completed a 40 page intelligence briefing that left me feeling somewhat sick, and reaffirmed the global stretch that Islam has made, and just how much this religion of hate and death is tearing apart the world. The amount of death and suffering brought on in the name of Allah will undoubtedly go down in history eclipsing Hitler, Stalin, and Attila the Hun.
The winds of war are stirring overhead as the world largely slumbers beneath, unaware of the devastation about to be unleashed. While the news channels are mostly silent right now, just waiting for their next script to be given them, the ruling elite are playing a very real, and deadly chess game, and the pieces are lining up for a decisive battle.
Condoleezza Rice told the world last week that "The Palestinian people deserve a better life, a life that is rooted in liberty, democracy, uncompromised by violence and terrorism, unburdened by corruption and misrule and forever free of the daily humiliation of occupation, and I promise you my personal commitment to that goal." She then went on to say "I believe there could be no greater legacy for America than to help bring into being a Palestinian state for people who have suffered too long, have been humiliated too long,".
I would like to say that in my humble opinion there will be no more tragic and destructive legacy for America than to help bring into being a Palestinian state. I would also like to state unequivocally that these people have been humiliated and forced to suffer not by Israel, but by the devil they serve, and the very Arab “brothers” in the surrounding countries who manipulate them onward to self destruction. I will restate my position as well that the only people occupying land in the Middle East are the Arabs. The bible tells me that the Holy Land that God has set aside for His own possession stretches from the great river in Egypt (I presume that to be the Nile) to the Euphr! ates. No northern or southern borders are mentioned so I would conclude that it is bound by the Black Sea in the North and the Arabian Sea on the south. That is a whole lot of occupied (and oil rich) land that will someday be redeemed to Israel. Most people would accuse me of incitement; rather I am simply stating the facts as laid out by the word of God.
To accentuate the U.S. commitment to Secretary Rice’s statement, the Fatah faction of the embattled P.A. received a new shipment of arms Thursday as part of a Western aid package to bolster forces loyal to Mahmoud Abbas. Of course as I have said before, Abbas is simply Arafat in a suit. He told the western world that the P.A. including Hamas would recognize Israel, and on the same day told P.A. radio in Arabic that there was no need to ever recognize Israel’s right to exist.
Israel National News reports that “IDF Intelligence Research Chief Brig.-Gen. Yossi Baidatz disclosed Sunday that arms smuggling into Gaza by the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority includes even anti-aircraft weapons.
Baidatz's assessment is that Hamas plans to use the weapons against Israeli fighter planes in future armed conflicts, and eventually aims to use them against civilian aircraft as well.
The intelligence chief said that Israel must come up with a solution to protect its planes from the new weapons, or else imperil its entire aviation industry. It is known that PA Arabs are attempting to smuggle such weapons into Judea and Samaria as well, putting Ben Gurion International Airport within range of the missiles.
The same anti-tank rockets that were used to disable many of Israel's tanks in Lebanon have also been streaming into Gaza on a daily basis, making an IDF ground invasion of Gaza a much more perilous task. Hamas has warned that if Israel attempts to enter Gaza, it will be "greatly surprised." (END QUOTE)
IDF sources are saying that they have identified an unprecedented number of Al-Qaeda terror cells operating in Gaza and throughout Judea and Samaria (falsely called the West Bank) and now they have discovered Syrian operatives in Gaza instructing Hamas in Hezbollah tactics.
Don’t give up yet, it gets better...
Now Hezbollah in Lebanon has regrouped, and says it has even more missiles at its disposal now than it did before the war (thanks to the UNIFIL multi-national peace keeping force that refused to disarm Hezbollah or to stop the flow of weapons into the country.) They have realigned along the Israeli boarder and are making noises of renewed action against Israel. Of course this time if Israel strikes them even in self defense they will be accused of attacking multi-national troops which will be an act of war on all of the countries participating in UNIFIL.
Their neighbors next door headed by long time pal and all around good guy Bashar Assad, have now taken up full battle positions along the Golan Heights. While Syria likely poses little threat to Israel in the big picture, it is unknown if they indeed have the weapons of mass destruction at their disposal that were supposedly transferred out of Iraq prior to the Iraq invasion by the U.S.
Behind the Syrian bravado is Iran. Iran is emerging as the pre-eminent Islamic power in the Middle East, much to the dislike of the Saudis, and is even overshadowing Egypt in Palestinian affairs. Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal is receiving Iranian training for a 6500 man rapid deployment force in order to open a second Hezbollah front in the coming conflict. Iran is also busy rearming both Le banese Hezbollah warlords (who are simultaneously plotting the assassination of Lebanon Prime Minister Fouad Siniora.) and the Syrian army.
On Friday the 13th, Iran’s supreme spiritual ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, while holding an AK47 in his hands, gave a “sermon” to many political and military leaders filled with hateful diatribe aimed at Israel and the U.S. and stressing that ”The War Isn’t Over.” He also reminded them that the last Friday of Ramadan is International al Qods Day - “Jerusalem Liberation Day.”
This becomes more important when you realize that the USS Eisenhower Carri er Strike Group, part of the U.S. Sixth Fleet, is racing to the Persian Gulf and will be deployed in operational mode opposite Iran’s shores by Oct. 21. Iran has been operating war games in this region since August and it is believed they are preparing a pre-emptive strike against U.S. interest in Iraq and against Israel perhaps as soon as October 20th. It is perceived that this will cause the U.S. to turn its attention off of Iran and cause it to defend its positions in Iraq, and to go to the defense of Israel as well.
Debka File reports “US naval, air and marine forces are massing in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman and eastern Mediterranean opposite Lebanon and Syria.
Facing these units are Iranian Revolutionary Guards naval, air and marine units together with the Iranian armed forces on full war preparedness.”
It would still be suicidal in my assessment for Syria and Iran to take on the U.S. and Israel in a full blown war. However, there are more players muddying the waters. Of course we can never forget that Egypt has long been itching to take revenge on Israel, and even Jordan has been more openly hostile as of late.
Russia has deployed a presence in Lebanon, and they have been very defiant in their diplomacy recently. It is commonly accepted that Vladimir Putin has determined to restore Russia to Super Power status. In a somewhat uneasy alliance with China, these two giants have collaborated for several years with the expressed intent of bringing down the U.S. Add into the mix the recent nuclear test conducted by North Korea, and you truly have a tinder box looking for a match. What is driving North Korea and Iran is the fear that the U.S. is planning on regime change. This is like trapping a bobcat in the corner; it is going to fight with ferocity in an attempt to save its life. If America were to begin air strikes on North Korea, they could very well attack Seoul, the capital of South Korea, a city of 10 million people and the economic engine of the nation, reaping devastating destruction.
I also find it interesting that the new Taiwanese leader that arose from the recent military coup is a Muslim. Whether he will try and cede control to China, or wrestle control from it, he can instantly create another battle front for the U.S.
I have laid out this exact scenario many times over the past several years, and all I can think as I hear all of this is “I will put hooks in your jaws and drag you out”. If we are seeing th e alignment of the war of Gog and Magog, we are in for a tremendous battle beyond the imagination of most of us. This will be in my estimation a long and drawn out conflict that will progress in stages, likely beginning with the destruction of Gaza, followed by the complete ruin of Damascus. This will not be a battle like the one we just witnessed in Lebanon. It will eventually be fought on the hills of Judea and Samaria, and even in the heart of Jerusalem. I believe it is out of the ashes of this conflict that the antichrist will arise.
To top it all off, our leadership is in complete disarray, and it appears nothing will be done to dislodge the Kadima government led by Ehud Olmert. Our illustrious IDF commander Amir Peretz is still trying to talk peace with Syria by giving up the Golan Heights, and is attempting peace through appeasement by starting the procedure to rip out twelve more settlement communities in the coming days. Olmert is planning on the release of hundreds of prisoners in exchange for our missing soldiers. I pray for God’s mercy on these soldiers, but trading hundreds, or even thousands of prisoners for these soldiers has historically proven to bring new waves of terror and death to Israeli citizens.
While we had precious little time to prepare for the next round of warfare, we spent it as a nation embroiled in scandal and infighting. God have mercy on us! It will only be by His hand we will be delivered.
My friends, Israel has never been in a worse position than the one it finds itself in today. Your prayers and intercessions are not just requested, they are vital.
I do not know if a firestorm will rain on us in the next few days or not. But I do know that at any time from now until the coming of the Lord, we are in a world that is capable of self destructing at any moment.
When this war takes place, and it will, the world will be a different place in a matter of hours. God is going to shake everything that can be shaken, so only that which cannot be shaken will remain. These are very serious words. I pray that each of us will be unshakable.
