Hello fellow doves,

I enjoyed the letter by Tony Ellsworth on the exodus as a rapture model.  After reading that I felt I had to ask about something that jumped out at me recently from the book of Joshua.   Has there has been any discussion on the fact that the when Israel was ready to cross the Jordan into the Promised Land, the people were commanded to follow the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Covenant but to stay "about 2,000 cubits" away (Joshua 3:1-4)?  It makes me think of "about 2000 years"!  I would greatly appreciate any insights that are applicable.
