I would like to weigh in on this End Times discussion of whether there will
be a European Roman rise to power or will Islam be the catalyst for the
Antichrist. Well, if you factor in the coming Gog-Magog war, it is clear
that God destroys the enemies of Israel, mainly all the Islam Nations. With
these Islam Nations in ruins, I believe that God will have placed them and
Islam on the ash heap of history. Since Iraq is not a player in the coming
war they stand to come out of this as the new powerhouse in the Mid-East.
This will set the stage, I believe, for a European Ruler to look to the new
Babylon for his future capital. In this scenario, considering Gog-Magog,
there will be no Islam to even consider. It also allows the imagination to
run wild on the possibility of that New Temple coming soon in Jerusalem
with Islam out of the way!
