"The Ark Proportion"

The Two Arks and the Golden Proportion

The first question asked was how was the Ark of Noah and the Ark of the Covenant are of the same ratio since it does not seem that way. The Ark of the Covenant's dimensions are 1.5 x 1.5 x 2.5 in cubits. The Ark of Noah is 300 x 30 x 50 in cubits. On the surface they do not match. However, both objects are said to use the Golden Proportion of 1.618 or also the same as 0.618. The Golden Proportion of 2.5 is 1.545 (0.618 x 2.5) and of 50 it is 30.9 (0.618 x 5). So both objects employ the Golden Proportion (also known as the growth constant) in very basic terms that could not be detected with the human eye. The Ark of Noah is simply 20 times the measurements of the Ark of the Covenant, with the largest measure being 200 times that of 1.5 for the Ark of the Covenant. This results in 80,000 Ark of the Covenants to one Ark of Noah. It is interesting that there were 8 people onboard, but also that estimates are that 80,000 animals were needed to be on the Ark of Noah to populate the earth.
