When I read that Mercury orbits the sun in 88 days, I was amazed concerning all of the elevens and eights focusing on 11-08-2006. (I have also been an observer of the eleven phenomena, by the way).
 
However, it has been brought to my attention in times past that 70 AD should be of some significance in pointing to the time of the end. Now it looks like it might fit in with everything else being discovered.
 
70 AD to 2006 AD = 1936 years
 
1936 =  (88 + 88) x 11  or  11 x 11 x (8+8)
