Dear Doves,My previous post was two days ago:On October 31, 1517 Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on All-Hallows-Eve. This will now be 489 years, but if we count October 31/November 1 of 1517 as one, then it is the 490th occurrence of this date or the infamous number of 7 times 70.However, there is always more.Martin Luther also had a famous sermon against indulgences of the Church on October 31, 1516. 1516 is also significant since it was also the year of Erasmus' Greek-Latin Received Text--the Textus Receptus. With the printing press, the rest is history--now 490 years of it.However there is the issue of Gregorian reform. This is when September 3rd became September 14th in 1752. To adjust for this and count 490 years (178,968 days) from October 31, 1516 or 489 years (178,603 days) from October 31, 1517 will bring us to November 8, 2006 inclusively and exactly. This is because October 31, in 1516 or 1517 was equivalent to November 9 (Gregorian). And there is more.Martin Luther was born the Julian date of November 10, 1483. Kristallnacht or "Night of Broken Glass" was November 9-10, 1938, two days of November we have just seen and tied to Martin Luther who was from Germany. But let us not compare Martin Luther to the despicable Nazis. Therefore, Kristallnacht (1938) was 421 years from 10/31/1517 and the 95 theses.Martin Luther died in 1546.421 years later is 1967 (the ultimate sign to 11/8/2006).460 years later is 2006.46 is the gematria of Elijah.November 8, 2006 is day 46 after Rosh Hashanah 2006.And of course, not to be missed: 1517 + 500 = 2017Is there more?On a personal note: Martin Luther was buried 2/22/1546 (he died 2/18) and 421 years later I was born--2/22/1967. Yes, history can be fun or actually sobering. And here comes November 1 (Heshvan 10) and November 8 (Heshvan 17)--two days of importance in the beginning of the Flood.Keep Watching,Daniel Matson
