"To Chuck Holler -- Number 216"

Chuck,
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is well known that 6 x 6 x 6 =
216. And this is very probably why Tim LaHay used this number and related it
to the antichrist. It provides some interesting analogies. Look carefully at
Revelation 13:18, it says that 666 is the number of a man. Can we find a man
who was identified by this number? Yes. But it is not the man most people
think of when they see 666.
The number 666 is one of the identities of Jesus Christ. The name Jesus
has a value of 888. The number 8 means "beginning" and "new beginning." Just
like the music scale -- we count seven notes, and the 8th one ends the
octave, but also is the first note of the next octave. So 8 is a beginning
and a new beginning. It represents Jesus Christ as John described him: "By
him were all things made, and without him was nothing made." That was the
beginning. But because he shed his life blood to redeem Adam, all mankind
will receive a "new beginning." "As in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall
all be made alive." However, the number 6 is the number of man. Adam was
created perfect -- in that perfection of human form he was represented by
the number 6. However, he sinned, but he still was represented by the number
6 in his fallen condition. Jesus came as a perfect man, number 6, and shed
his life blood for Adam. However, just as we raised the 8 to its triplet, so
when we think of the perfect man Jesus, we raise the 6 to its triplet also.
This is not just conjecture. It has scriptural evidence.
In symbology, used in the scriptures, the topstone of the Great Pyramid
represents Jesus. Of course, in reality that topstone was never placed on
the top of that magnificent edifice. However, there is scriptural evidence
that it will indeed be placed, and Jesus will be recognized as earth's new
King. The Psalmist, David, wrote concerning this topstone, and prophesied of
a time future when the topstone will be placed. He said, "The stone which
the builders refused is become the headstone of the corner." Many years
after David, Jesus quoted this and applied it to himself. So we know that
this topstone represents Jesus. But "the headstone of the corner" has a
Gematria value of 666.
In Psalm 22 David wrote another prophecy concerning Jesus on the cross.
Among many other descriptions of that crucifixion scene, David wrote, "I am
poured out like water. All my bones are out of joint." This is prophetic of
Jesus, and again the number 666 identifies him. "All my bones" has a
Gematria value of 666.
Even the nails that were driven through his hands and his feet seem to
seal the number as his. In the Hebrew alphabet, every letter has a meaning
-- it pictures something. The letter vaw, which bears the number 6,
represents a nail. Two nails were driven through his hands, one for each
hand, and one nail was driven through his feet -- for his feet were
overlapped so that they were held by one nail that was driven through both.
Thus we have three nails, or three vaw or three number 6 -- 666. But if we
add them we get 18, again identifying him as the beginning and the new
beginning. And if we multiply them we get 216. And the topstone of the
Pyramid sits in the middle of the 216-mile diameter of the Nile Delta
circle, dividing it into two portions of 108 miles each. (Note the use again
of the 1 and the 8.)
So, going back to Revelation 13:18, who is the "man" whose number is 666?
John wrote "It is the number of a man" -- I submit that the man was Jesus.
However the imitator of Christ, not only usurps the title, but also the
number. Thus in this scripture we have the anti-christ bearing the number
666.
