"Re: Jim Bramlett's - "Tabernacles rapture?""

Regarding Jim's post at http://www.fivedo ves.com/letters/oct2005/jim108.htm

After the 14,000 days passed, I wondered if it would be timed from the day the Lord gave Israel the Temple Mount (June 7, 1967) or the date that they officially turned it over to the Arabs. It would have to be triggered by the sin in the same way the 14,000 days after the ten spies gave the bad report, or the failure of the Jews to realize the day of their King in the triumphal entry. It wasn't the taking of the Temple Mount, it was the giving away of the Temple Mount that would have triggered the 14,000 days.

So, I did some research and found that it was turned over officially by the passing of "The Protection of Holy Places Law" that passed the Knesset on June 27, 1967, about three weeks after the Six Day War. The 14,000th day (inclusive) after that event is going to be October 24, 2005 which is Tabernacles.

Here is the official Israeli posting of the law and the date of passage. This is the law that officially allowed all religions to freely access the Temple Mount and all other religious sites in Israel. This was done because those in charge at the time said the Israel was a secular nation even though the Temple Mount, their holiest place and the place that they had longed to get back for centuries, was dropped into their hands by their own God. Instead of seizing this miraculous moment in time, they passed this law that allowed it to be open to the other religions. Of course, we all know now that because the failed to take what God gave them, they have now lost even more control and are not even allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.

The question is what will happen next? Will this time come to an end and Israel will take control of the Temple Mount after the 14,000 days, just like the Israelites were allowed to enter the Promised Land after 14,000 days? Or will it be a curse, such as it was after the 14,000 days when Jesus on April 6, 32 AD, as He rode into Jerusalem and wept over the city and said because they failed to know the time of their visitation that they would be spiritually blinded? Or could it be the rapture?

Some could ask since the two previous events seemed to relate to the Nation of Israel, how could this possibly be the rapture, which is a church event? We have to remember that one of the main reasons for the rapture is to remove the church so the God can deal directly with Israel. The Book of Revelation turns very Jewish in its structure after chapter 4 when the church is removed and most of the rest of the book is God's dealing with Israel and her enemies.

We will know soon!
