8. Nebuchadnezzar restored to throne

And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; And this [is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took the kingdom, [being] about threescore and two years old.

8. Beast that once was now is not is an eighth king (Babylon the Great)

Number of his name, mark, and image: Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
[That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

The Image represents Nebuchadenezzar who also represents the kingdom of Babylon. Those who worship image of gold forsake the Holy covenant and become antichrist. This also represents the beast in Revelation 13, 17.

Antichrist will be against GODS Holy Covenant Daniel (11:32 - 36)

He will destroy those who wont worship him just as Nebuchadnezzar wanted to do to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when they wouldnt worship the Image of Gold he set up. He was going to throw them into the fiery furnace if they did not. Many at the endtime who accept the mark of the beast will be damned for eternity into the lake of burning sulfer.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he (antichrist) corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits].

Those who are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, [many] days.

And [some] of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make [them] white, [even] to the time of the end: because [it is] yet for a time appointed.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six. The wise Christians wont accept this number

them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads.

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
