The AC divides the land for gain Daniel 11:39. GOD judges the nations for dividing up his land Joel 3:2.   Yes technically it is being divided now. I dont dispute that the dividing is allready taking place as in the Gaza strip. But the AC supposedly strengthens the peace plan and gives it more strength (confirm).  He divides the land for peace and makes the peace plan work. So more than likely we wont see Judea and Samaria and most of all Jerusalem being divided because Daniel 11:39 says the antichrist divides the land for gain. Unless you dont think that particular verse pertains to the antichrist, then if so then you must think that the verse from Daniel 11:40 or a later verse is what begins the prophecy of the endtimes. My NIV Bible notes say that Daniel 11:36 and on are prophecies about the antichrist  Also I must admit that its possible that Daniel 11:39 is not speaking about the division of the Holy Land, ill admit that as well. Though In my opinion I think more than likely it is speaking of the dividing of GODS land through the AC.  To me it seems like Joel 3:2 goes with Daniel 11:39.  And consider Zechariah 14:1, 2

 

Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

 

Zechariah 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

 

 

At  the Day of the Lord only half the city of Jerusalem goes into captivity which might be a hint to a divided Jerusalem in some way during the final period of the seven years.  This is what is being spoken of right now as Palestine wants East Jerusalem for their capitol.

 

So Ultimately the land can be divided prior to the final seven year period. But if its fully divided before the 7 year period begins then what dividing will the antichrist accomplish????
