Greetings DovesThere is an interesting progression of the names of God in scripture:
1. Yehovah Gireh (The Lord our provider),
2. Yehovah Rapha (The Lord our healer),
3. Yehovah Shalom (The Lord our peace),
4. Yehovah Tsavaot (The Lord of hosts),
5. Yehovah Tzidkkenu (The Lord our righteousness),
6. Yehovah Shammah (The Lord who is there),
AND FROM The 2nd Testament
#7. YESHUA - Yehovah Yeshua (The Lord our salvation)!
In 3 Enoch, Our Lord is referred to as "The Lesser YHVH", i.e. The son of YHVH. In Enoch He is also called Metron - "Conqueror of death". Jesus, Himself said, "The Father is greater than I", indicating He is the "Lesser YHVH". Realization of this helps "square up" scripture where in the Gospel of John we are told: "no man has seen the face of God at any time", and the Book of Exodus where it is said, "Moses spoke with God "Face to Face". When we realize Yeshua was referring to the Face of the Father, and that Moses spoke face to face with the lesser YHVH, i.e. Jesus Himself, the "apparent contradiction" goes neatly away.
In the Hebrew transliteration of the superscription plaque on the cross we see Yeshua as YHVH:
Yeshua Hanazaret Vemelek Hayehudim >> YHVH. The staff (Aaron;s staff) and the cross are related. In The Book of Jasher, Enoch, and the Talmud, Adam is given a staff, inscribed with the letters "YHVH" to patrol the Garden. The stall, was used by Moses and later became Aarons'; Adam was given the spiritual authority over hasatan; thus the evil one went after the "unprotected" woman.
The two YHVH's can be seen in the account of destruction account of Sodom, where Heaven and earth are contrasted with God (in heaven) sending down fire to the earth where the "Lord" is seen to be located. In the narrative in Genesis, in that tractate, two of the 3 persons of the Divine Trinity are seen.
In Enoch, there are also 7 heavens, which is hinted at in the Hebrew word for Heaven -- "Shamayim" '7 waters'. Metron (The Lesser YHVH) is ruler in the 4th heaven. If Elijah et al. went to the 3rd heaven upon translation and others at their time of death then the idea that no one has seen God's Face, not even Eliyahu, as the Father is in the 7th heaven remains intact!
Must Go. Blessings BaShem Yeshua Sarenu Shalom. TEFE
