"PSALM 23 RAPTURE?"

Greetings Doves;

     King David was a great prophet in addition to psalmist and King. In the following Psalm it appears that King David had a ‘John the Revelator” type of experience’. It seems a strong proposition that the Lord never came down to earth to “prepare a table before me”.

     Rather it seems David “was in the spirit realm”, and the preparation of the table here is actually the table of the “wedding feast” mentioned in the Book of Rev. In the Psalm the table is prepared in the presence of David’s enemies – this would correspond to the Bride being seated at the wedding feast, and then the devil and his angels being cast out; coming then down to earth with great fury, as depicted in the Book of Rev. It seems to fit well:

Psalms 23
1.
 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2.
 He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters;

3.
 he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake.

4.
 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff-- they comfort me.

5.
 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6.
 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long.

     Anointing with oil and cup running over speaks of the Holy Spirit. This seems to fit well with the idea that at the rapture , the Holy Spirit is sealed within our bodies – which bestows incorruptibility and eternal joy! This would be something akin to having the Holy Spirit within us then getting “dipped in a sealer” to affix for all eternity. Nice!
