"THE "SON" THE BUILDERS REJECTED"

GREETINGS DOVES

I was surprised to learn of an "Aramaism" in the following: Psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.". The word for "stone" here is aleph Beit Nun,, "EBEN". In Aramaic it is translated as "stone". In all lokelyhood, the redactor was making a "word play" on the Hebrew HaBen, which means "The Son". When fed back into the above verse it reads: 22 The son which the builders refused is become the head son of the corner.". It "works" at least as well as the word "stone". The Builders here is a referent back to the Levites who were in charge of assembling and disassembling the Tabernacl;e in the wilderness; i.e. they were the "builders" and their descendants (in large part) as the SanHedrin rejected Yeshua; whereas most of the people embraced Him. The same "word exchange" can be made in many places for the word "stone" in the Torah and the results are impressive,,, too many to post.
