It is fascinating that so many of us have had such similiar dreams
concerning the Lord's return.  I wanted to point out a couple of things:

1.  All of them had a very visual, powerful darkness happen in the sky.
2.  There was a palatable and deep sense of fear by this blackness.
3.  They all happened suddenly.
4.  Believers are brought up to the Lord.
5.  Some took place on what was a "normal" day.

I noticed that many of these dreams occurred in 1999.  Although I didn't put
that in my post, that is also when I had this dream.  It was the very
beginning of September, 1999.   I have pondered my dream many times and have
come up with a couple different scenarios as to its explanation:

1.  It's the classic pre-tribulation rapture sequence.  The black clouds
reprensent the start of the tribulation and the white light represents the
Lord.  Before the "blackness" of the tribulation begins, believers are taken
to heaven simultaneously with sudden destruction coming on the Earth.  When
one thinks about it, if there were simulatneous worldwide nuclear explosions
across the Earth, no one would miss people taken in the rapture.  There
would be so much caos, confusion and terror from the carnage of the nuclear
blasts, that EVERYONE would believe anyone missing died in the explosions.

2.  It's the post-tribulation / pre-wrath  rapture sequence.  All is normal
in the world and then a sudden destruction comes from the east (there were a
couple of dreams where the blackness in the sky was coming from the east).
Again, it could be a suprise nuclear attack.  This could be the super loud
explosion.  During this sudden destruction, many of His people are taken
through death (those accounted worthy to escape).   I say death because of
Isaiah 57 :1 "The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart;
devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are
taken away to be spared from evil. 2 Those who walk uprightly enter into
peace; they find rest as they lie in death."   This might be the "escape"
Jesus talked about in Luke 21.  These believers would later be resurrected
during the rapture together with those who are alive and remain (got saved
during tribulation or were not worthy at the time to escape the things
coming on the Earth).  (I am not saying that those accounted worthy would be
blown up ... but just die instantly)

These are just two theories.  I am sure that many of you have better
interpretations.... One thing all these dreams from the Lord do verify is
that His children will be "hidden" during the time of great darkness on the
Earth.  Isaiah 26:20 "Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors
behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed
by. 21 See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of
the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her;
she will conceal her slain no longer."

It is such a blessing to me to hear of how the Lord is confirming His Word
to His children.  I simply CANNOT WAIT to see Him!   Praise God .... Come
