Book review - Stephen M. Yulish "Invasion: Israel"
Stephen Yulish's follow-up novel, "Invasion: Israel," is a great
spin-off of his previous work, "The Great Harpazo Deception," a fast-paced,
attention-grabbing end-times novel. The Great Harpazo Deception ended with
believers' sudden disappearance in the rapture (harpazo), and Invasion:
Israel picks up when the gates of Hell have spilled out upon Earth during
the beginning of the Tribulation.
In his writings, Stephen Yulish captures the heart and emotions in a
gripping portrayal of mankind's struggle to explain the sudden disappearance
of millions through what appeared to be a UFO invasion. In Invasion:
Israel, Stephen Yulish has superimposed vivid pictures of a world gone crazy
in a post-rapture setting -- bombs destroying America's national monuments,
bio-terrorists' wreaking havoc when the smallpox virus is released in Israel
and Los Angeles, and the devastating results of subsequent nuclear attacks
on Damascus.
Stephen Yulish's character portrayals in Harry Jacobson, a Jewish
Comparative Religion professor,
and Rachel, the daughter of a Black Baptist preacher, bring conflict,
struggle, and hardship to the readers' imagination. Eventually, among the
last remaining few, Jews are pictured gathered together in a standoff in
Israel against the Muslim nations who have united to destroy them. The army
gathers in the north bringing to life the events of Ezekiel 38, and The
Third Temple is resurrected as the "man of lawlessness" is crowned.
Invasion: Israel's Epilogue is a troubling, prophetic word for those
who must endure the Tribulation and envision the Rider of the "white horse"
of Revelation 6:2. It is a wake-up call to the world as the Book of
Revelation unfolds revealing the events which will "shortly come to pass."
Stephen Yulish writes with a commanding presence and a Christ-centered
approach to Biblical theology. I would highly recommend Invasion: Israel to
anyone and everyone who is interested in prophecy and a Biblical approach to
end-time studies.
Dr. Stephen M. Yulish is a Messianic Jew and former University of Arizona
History Professor. He is a writer of end-time's prophetic novels. Stephen
M. Yulish was born and raised Jewish. He is a former member of the Jewish
faculty and the campus Jewish student organization, Hillel. He later served
as the State Director of the Jewish National Fund and the Endowment Director
of the Jewish Federation of Phoenix.
