Dear Doves:Something hilarious that happened yesterday October 4th while visiting my sister....
When I entered the door, I said my ususal Hello's, gave hugs and felt the need to go see my 19 month old nephew who had not come running as he usually does. In the play room, I found him diligently LOADING NOAH'S ARK! A play toy he had received on his first birthday in March. He was loading all the animals in the belly of the ark so he could close the door. I bent down to say hello and help him in his endeavor. I noticed the ark was almost full and there were still animals left to load. So I placed some on the top and middle level of the ark to ride on top...NO! Un dah...he stated and removed the ones on the top only to cram them into the hull. Un dah...he kept saying as he pointed to the door. Okay, I said but these last two are not going to fit sweetheart, the ark is full. No! un dah, un dah....He started to cry and shoved the giraffe head first leaving half of his body hanging out. He shoved and beat them into the door of the ark only to be frustrated as to why they would not fit! I said again, they will not fit and showed him it was full. He looked at me with tears in his eyes and say UN DAH....as if to say...all of the animals "have to fit". He threw the two animals not lucky enough to make the ark stuffing on the floor in frustration and marched off toward the kitchen...afterall the cat's tail needed a good pulling!
Hallelu-YAH!! That Almighty EL-SHADDAI allowed enough room in his ark of safety so all of us animals could fit!!
I mumbled something like, Oh the camel and the chicken must be part of the foolish virgins!
Enjoy the everyday little things! Looking up and loving the learning process! Kelly in Dallas
