Just thought I would add my 2 cents regarding the identity of the "substitution for Christ" better known as the anti-christ.
 
 Firstly, King Abdullah although seemingly a peace maker, does not have the capability/technology nor the resources nor the military troops to launch devastating wars around the globe like the A.C. described for us throughout various parts of the word of God. Secondly, the A.C.will call himself a "christian" not a muslim/moslem.  This would also disqualify the Pope as being the A.C. for the said aformentioned reason( nuclear capability, military troops..tanks..missiles..battleships..aircraft carriers...etc etc))
 
At this present moment in time, barring partisan politics,( there is no doubt, partisan politics will be used by satan to cloud the minds of many people who suspect their respective leader/leaders to be the very person the bible forwarned so long ago) we already know the indentity of the "substitution for Christ" ..aka..A.C. And during the abomination of desolation..the whole world will know! (at least those who's minds are not blinded by satan and partisan politics)
 
If you ascribe to the notion that the White Horse Rider of Revelation and the A.C. is one and the same, then it should be very clear with regards to the identity of the A.C.(If need be, I'll explain why)
 
For the record, I believe the phrase "substitution for Christ" is a much more accurate term and helps to indentify the "A.C." with ease.
 
Is there ANYTHING wrong with wanting to be like God?.
 
Remember satan's thoughts in heaven?  "I shall be like the most high". In like terms, a leader will arise, who will "think an evil thought" and launch a global campaign to "rid the world of evil" thinking himself  "to be like the Most High/ Christ "
 
So, the 64k question remains> Is there ANYTHING wrong with wanting to be like God?
 
 My answer:
 
 If my zeal "to be like God" starts world war 3 and as a result, kills  2 billion people/ a third of mankind (nuclear war)..then I would say...ummm..yes.  lol   But then again..only God knows the heart. Ooops..correction... a leader of a nation has recently claimed he "looked into the soul of President Putin, and found him to be a good man." Has anyone told this leader that Russia(not necessarily Putin to his credit) will be the major player instrumental in destroying possibly two thirds of Israel, and possibly, America as well?  Delusion seems to be the norm during these evil days.(Rev 16:13-14)
 
The above question may warrant a thread all of it's own, I'm sure I can look forward to much input from the doves
