I am keeping you and your son (and all of the sons and daughters), in my prayers. "There is good news, and there is bad news." Therefore, I respond with some hesitancy and a lot of prayerful consideration. As I mentioned a while back, rarely am I used to interpret dreams. But frequently I am used in discernment. I was not expecting to receive any insight concerning this message. The good news is that God usually gives this quality of a message to rulers, and to His people (who are kept under his protection, even when they are in the middle of the fire.). The good news is that even though the "birds" truly "shakeup" and "pass over" your son/(U.S. military), he makes it out alive. Your son is in His hands, and he is safer there, than in your own home in his own bed.
Dreams and prophecys are interpreted and fulfilled many times and in many ways/levels. But usually, only one fulfillment meets every criteria 100 percent. ( examples : the sacrifice of Isaac versus the sacrifice of Jesus . The people of Israel fleeing from Jerusalem in 70 AD versus their fleeing from the future antichrist.). Your son literally cleaned carpets in the United States , now he and his forces are cleaning up the foundation / floor that the new Iraqi government will walk upon . When the Iraqi government returns to the Palace ( rulership), they will not look " pretty " and will gain little respect . The timing " might " be after Husseins "retirement / sleep / death" .
The bad news is the "Birds." These are very negative, and as another has written, may represent the occult and evil. My discernment is telling me that they will be released upon our forces by those who take over power in Iraq. And it will be a surprise to our forces, causing us to flee in fear. Eagles are seen four times in the New Testament. Two times with negative associations, and twice as a descriptive term.
Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase (4430) is, there will the eagles (105) be gathered together.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

[I know that everybody likes to use this scripture for the "Rapture" (Harpazo), but this is actually separating the wheat from the tares. The people taken in this instance, are going to their destruction.].

One level of interpretation is that there are two owls that exist in Iraq that match exactly in color to the dream. But I believe that there is a deeper interpretation. Probably two different types of pestilence. Remember, these birds caused the "Screaming Eagles" to run and leave the Palace. So they must contain a significant amount of terror and surprise to accomplish that.

When I first received this "insight," it was a surprise to me. But I need to inform you that for approximately the last two years I have been amazed how our war in Iraq is fulfilling Daniel chapter 8. The "experts" have missed the fact that even though Alexander the Great was a "type" of the goat in this chapter, he fails to be the final fulfillment in a number of ways. The most glaring mistake is to ignore the Angels interpretation to Daniel. Gabriel tells Daniel in verse 17 and 19 that : "for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision." And, " for at the time appointed the end [shall be]." This would definitely put the fulfillment after Alexander the Great and the first coming of Jesus. Then he also states in verse 5: "...an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground:..." Alexander came by ground, but President Bush came by air/sea.
Do you recall how Gabriel referred to the spiritual rulers over these nations? Gabriel states that the goat is Grecia. Well, what was the spirit of Greece, and what is she known for? Democracy! Didn't President Bush conquer Iraq in the name of democracy? Is that not the spirit he was operating under? The spirit of Grecia. The Ram has two horns (Kings/rulers), the Meads and the Persians. The descendants of the Meads are the Kurds, and the descendants of the Persians are the Iranians. There is a possibility that the two horns of the Ram are the two divisions of Islam (Shi'ite and Sunni). If we maintain the interpretation to spiritual rulers, Islam would fit the Ram the best. The only reason I present all of this in relationship to the dream, is the following two versus:
Dan 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
Dan 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant [land].
This would indicate the defeat of President Bush when he is at his militarily strongest. And from his defeat, the antichrist comes forth.
