"Free e-book now available!"

Dear friends:

In the mid-1980s, I sensed an inspiration to write a book on the great truths of the Bible that would be unique, readable, and interesting, unlike most theological books.  The idea was to attract readers who would not otherwise read such a book.

It was a fun project, requiring a lot of research and also the compilation of some great material that I had collected over the years.

The unusual book, “The World’s Greatest Truths,” was finally published in 1988.  It has received a lot of rave reviews, received a lot of media attention, and I believe has blessed a lot of people.  However, as most books do, it ran its course and is no longer available, although I note that some book venders still have a few used copies available.

Recently I felt led to want to provide it free by posting the whole book on the Internet.  I had a problem, however, in that the book had been on the old, large floppy disks using an early version of the antiquated WordStar word processing software.  I doubted that I could convert it.  Thankfully, I had captured the data on my old 486/66 computer, which had a large floppy drive, then I had transferred the data via a CD to my new computer.  However, the data was still in the old WordStar format and was nothing but garbles, seemingly useless.  But miracles of miracles, I was able to convert it, requiring only minimal editing to correct errors introduced by the conversion.  I just finished this past weekend.

Today, thanks to Webmaster friend Mike Vest, the book has been uploaded to the Internet!  It is now available free to the whole world.  It is at http://www.choicesforliving.com/truth

Check it out.  You will especially enjoy learning about “the world’s greatest substance” and how it applies to you personally!

Tell others about the book!

Reminder, and for new readers, the full text of my more recent book, THE POWER! is also available on the Internet at http://www.choicesforliving.com/book/the_power.htm.

God bless you,

Jim
