Dear friends:

Earlier this morning, I quoted correspondent David Dolan, who referred to this "troubled planet" and I asked that we all pray for the Lord's soon return.  A few minutes later, I saw this ghastly reminder of how troubled this planet really is.

A news report says that three teenage Christian girls were beheaded and a fourth was seriously wounded in a savage attack on Saturday by unidentified assailants in Indonesia .  The girls were among a group of students from a private Christian high school who were ambushed while walking through a cocoa plantation on their way to class.

The heads of the three dead girls were found later; two of the heads were found near a police station and the other head in front of a newly built Christian church.

This did not happen in Israel.  It had nothing to do with Israel.  This was not the work of Middle East radicals.  It was the work of Islamists in Indonesia, followers of the "religion of peace" as proclaimed by many of reduced mental capacity.  (I started to say "morons" but decided to be kind.)  Beheading these young girls was the work of demon-possessed followers of Islam and their moon-god.

Also this morning I saw this headline and article:

Prince Charles to plead Islam's cause to Bush
The Prince of Wales will try to persuade George W. Bush and Americans of the merits of Islam this week because he thinks the United States has been too intolerant of the religion since September 11.  The Prince, who leaves on Tuesday for an eight-day tour of the US, has voiced private concerns over America's "confrontational" approach to Muslim countries and its failure to appreciate Islam's strengths.

Based on this report, Prince Charles must be a moron.

David Dolan is correct: This is a troubled planet.  It is an asylum for the criminally insane, and the inmates are in charge.
