"Mystery Rainbow ...and Rosh Hashanahs"

Dear Fivedoves,

since a few days I like to write a letter to you about something I was pondering, however I was not quite sure if it is “important” at all…

This morning I looked at the spaceweather.com website and there is a report which did astonish me very much and I thought, wow!!, this is something…, perhaps I should now write my letter to you.

If you go to http://www.spaceweather.com/ you may find the story about “Mystery Rainbow”

(if you go to this website some day later, you may find the story where it says: view archives: and then go to “October” “01” “2005” and  “view”)

Here the report:

“MYSTERY RAINBOW: What does it take to make a rainbow? Two things: raindrops and sunlight. Raindrops act like tiny prisms, catching sunbeams and splitting them into their primary colors.

On Sept. 26, Bruno Nolf of Belgium observed something strange: a rainbow with no sun and no rain. "It was a very strange rainbow," says Nolf, who snapped this picture:

This red rainbow is a mystery because the sun had set four minutes earlier and was well below the horizon," says atmospheric optics expert Les Cowley. "Furthermore, according to Nolf, there was no rain falling and none visible on local weather radar!"

Cowley and colleague Gunther Konnen, a meteorologist, may have an explanation: Thousands of feet above Nolf, the sun had not yet set. (Think about it: "If your flight has ever taken off shortly after sunset you will see the sun rising again as the airplane climbs," notes Cowley.) Somewhere off in the distance, they speculate, a mile-high rainstorm that somehow evaded the radar caught the reddened rays of the setting sun, producing the Bruno's 'bow. “

I like to say: this is really a beautiful and amazing story….

And here is what I like to share:

In the past I always did watch the Fall Feasts. For instance the Rosh Hashanah of the year 1997, which was 7 x 7 = 49 years after 1948. I remember vividly when I then had to be on the road. In the evening at that day I stopped the car, opened the window because I believed surely there will be heard the Trumpet sounding…

however “nothing happened”… Few days later on Jom Kippur… the same …perhaps now? the fiftieth year, the year of Jubilee starting ? Nothing happened.

Then later that year, few days before Christmas in our local church the preacher did preach about the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus. The preacher said what would be if we perhaps get the information about the precise date of His coming …? And he added, “… perhaps we get the date: September 21, 1998…”

Wow… Later I asked him, why did you say just this date…? But he had no idea… he gave the date just “by chance”…

Well, however I did keep this date in mind and had great expectation: September 21, 1998 was Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets!!!

Then Monday, September 21, 1998 did come. On that very day it did rain very heavily and I had to visit our business partner and creditor in the Black Forest. It was a terrible situation. He was very angry. In late evening I came home…. “nothing happened”….

Then my parents and my sister asked me if I perhaps also had seen the most beautiful rainbow…? No, I had not ... I was sad not to have been at home…

Later my wife and our children told me that they have been at a place a few miles away and they also did see the most beautiful rainbow they ever saw… they also reported that the rainbow was just so near and bright and great…

I almost forgot the story about the rainbow… but then next evening in the prayer hour an old sister unexpected did gave thanks to the Lord for His most beautiful rainbow she ever saw… Later she reported, that they saw the rainbow so bright and beautiful just behind their farm…. And another old sister told me that she did see the rainbow too, so beautiful and just behind her house ….

Praise the Lord. All at once I understood what a mighty sign and parable this rainbow was…:

First book of the bible: “I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token…” Genesis 9, 13

Last book of the bible: “… and there was a rainbow…”  and “…a rainbow was…”

….And as every witness of that “Feast of Trumpets – rainbow” was seeing “his own” rainbow at his place just so near and just in front of them and so beautiful and bright… “ in like manner” it will be when our Lord is coming again: just in front of you and me, where ever we may be… all at once …..we will see Him… bright and beautiful …

Therefore let us lift up our heads by His Grace: and let us wait on Him and encourage one another and pray one for another and let us lift our voice and pray:

Come Lord Jesus.

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Today, October 1, 2005, I had great joy when I read the story about the „mystery rainbow“...

again what a sign … just seven years later … and just before the Feast of Trumpets this year…

By the way, today is Sabbath Day… the 2,000th Sabbath since Jerusalem Day June 7, 1967

(38,.. years later…. may our Lord soon heal His man child… as He healed that certain man in John 5,  …and may He grant us His Grace and heal His body and Church, and save us and keep His people Israel and may HE bring His Peace… The whole creation is waiting too… Come Lord Jesus)

All Glory to our Heavenly Father

through His Son Jesus, Yashua
