Has anyone considered the significance of these dates; 1933 and 2005?
In 1933 Adolph Hitler came to power and
immediately began the Jewish Holocaust.
It lasted for twelve years, 1933 – 1945, one year for each of the

As the world entered 1933 and the Jewish
Holocaust began, Almighty God raised up 21 tropical storms off the
shores of
“The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will
not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord
hath His way in the whirlwind [suphah…hurricane] and in
the storm, and the clouds are the dust of
His feet,” Nahum 1:3.
“Shall a trumpet be blown in the
city, and the people not be afraid? shall
there be evil [rah…trouble;
affliction; sorrow] in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?” Amos 3:6.
“Praise the Lord from the earth, ye
dragons, and all deeps:
Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy
wind fulfilling His Word,” Psalm 148:7-8.
It has now been 72 years since 1933. This year some 8,500 Jews were brutally
ripped from their homes and lands, and their homes and lands were given to
their sworn enemies, the Palestinians.
While this total miscarriage of justice was ongoing, most of the world
simply watched in silence, saying nothing and doing nothing. Once again the news media gave a blow by blow
description of this brutal evacuation, so that the whole world is well informed
of what took place. But once again, the
leaders of the free world were either silent as lambs, or were themselves
aiding and abetting the enemies of
It now appears that a second Jewish Holocaust [the Tribulation] is right at the door; staring humanity in the face, and once again the whole world is silent and idle, saying nothing and doing nothing. God have mercy!
Again this year, 2005, Almighty God has raised up 21 tropical storms off the shores of
Now let’s consider the significance
of the numbers involved in these events. In God’s Word No. 33 is the
Bible number associated with “promise.” In the very year that the Jewish
people were entering the Jewish Holocaust, Almighty God was promising to
watch over them and “To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in
famine,” Psalm 33:18-19.
In God’s Word No. 72 is always associated with “a sign.” It has been 72 years since this country has been visited with so many tropical storms in one season. Is there a reason? Are these tropical storms and hurricanes a sign from the Lord? Think about it!
While Hurricane Wilma is said to be the result
of the 21st tropical storm of the season, “W” is
the 23rd letter in the alphabet. No. 23 is the Bible number always associated
with “death” in the
Scriptures. Is the Lord trying to tell
Now the weather bureau is telling us that if there is another hurricane this season it will be name “Alpha,” the first letter in the Greek Alphabet. Now isn’t that interesting? Especially since the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, speaking in the context of “the day of the Lord” [the Tribulation…Revelation 1:10-11], plainly stated, “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last…” Folks, this first letter in the Greek alphabet is plainly associated with Christ and His return. The context itself points out that truth. Does this mean that the next hurricane after Wilma [the 22nd tropical storm; the 13th hurricane] will bring the Lord to rapture His people to glory, and will usher in the terrible Tribulation Period upon lost humanity? Well?? Since Christ Himself said, “I am Alpha….,” and the next hurricane is to be named “Alpha,” then it certainly makes one wonder if the next hurricane and the Lord will arrive simultaneously; the Lord to rapture His people to glory, and the hurricane to usher in the Tribulation. No. 22 is the Bible number that means “to see; discern; be enlightened.” No. 13 is the Bible number always associated with “sin and/or rebellion.” What is the Tribulation except the final time of sin and rebellion by the Antichrist and his followers against the Lord?
Folks, some of you are always looking for “signs.” May I suggest that you take a long hard look at the one that is right now staring humanity in the face. Are you ready to meet the Lord? Are you prepared to pass into eternity? Do you know that you are truly saved?
Do you have absolute assurance that when the Lord comes, you will be caught up to glory with Him? Folks, the Apostle Paul admonished those claiming to be God’s people to “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” 2 Corinthians 13:5. The Apostle Peter, in 2 Peter 1:10, also admonished the very “professing Christians” to whom he was writing to, “…..make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.” Friend, if you have even the slightest doubt about your salvation, then why not go to the Lord in humble, sincere prayer right now? Confess to Him your sin and unbelief and doubt, and ask Him to come into your heart and save you from sin, and give you the sweet assurance of salvation that will make you to know that you are His child. May God grant you grace is my prayer.
