The Image represents Nebuchadenezzar
who also represents the kingdom of Babylon. Those
who worship image of gold forsake the Holy covenant
and become antichrist. This also represents the beast in Revelation
13, 17.
Is this worshipping gold? Does this describe our society? Is this
related to the mark which allows men to buy and sell?No doubt the powers
that be in control of the world love money. This verse came to
mind:
For the
love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
