(Instead of taking your children out to trick or treat on Halloween for candy, why not have them forego the candy, and have them pass out Bible tracts and/or Bibles as you go with them from door to door, and invite the people you visit to attend your church.  And if anyone comes to your house that night, give them a Bible tract with a Bible instead, and explain why you don't celebrate Halloween. You could always wrap up the Bible so that it will come as a surprise when they open the package at home. As a side note, every time that you or one of your children return a book to the library, place a Bible tract inside the middle of the book that you are returning.)
