I HEARD AN ANGEL WHISPER

This poem was "pushed" through me very early one morning last November and wouldn't leave me alone until I had written it down! LOL!

I Heard an Angel Whisper in My Ear

I heard an angel whisper in my ear a fair and lovely tune
A song of hope and dreams it was to lift me from the gloom

She sang about a love so dear for all of us on earth
From all of those in Heaven who see in us such worth

Let go of all despair she sang, there's no reason to be sad
Lift up your hearts and feel God's love, you really should be glad

He really cares for each dear soul; He knows your every fear
Seek within your heart, He says, and find His Gift so dear

We all came to earth, she sang, to turn this world around
To make of earth a Heaven once more raise up this holy ground

Be joyful, she sang, be filled with hope, seek God's Will every day
He alone knows how to raise the earth, He'll show each one the way

When she had sung her song, returned to Heaven, a solemn vow I swore
