RE:  Iran's president:  "Israel should be wiped off the map"

Thank you Friedrich for your updates on the Feast of Tabernacles, and other items of interest, one of which is the news article you link (inyour Oct. 26 post):

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20051026/wl_afp/iranmideastisraelahmadinejad_051026100315

The article states the appalling message of the Iranian president, stating that "Israel should be wiped off the map"....this brought to my mind the 2nd Psalm,,,,and note our Father's reaction to such arrogant statements:

Psalms 2:1-61 Why do the heathen rage,  and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex  them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set  my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

The Lord will then SPEAK TO THEM IN HIS WRATH, (so watch out, Iran......) and vex them.   And says in no uncertain terms that His Word will stand....His King, Our King, will be set upon God's Holy Mountain, and He will rule forever.
Statements such as that by the Iranian President, announce to us boldly the mindset shared by many - that Israel, and in fact all who are the annointed of the Lord, to carry out His purposes, should be "cut off".
Very interesting news story.....thanks....That Iran takes up this notion publicly, would mean the surety of God's judgment against them according to the second Psalm.....
