Yep. That is a very clever way of “phasing in” the mark.
 
You watch. I believe the biggest jump will take place when there is another huge terrorist attack on the United States. If it is a Nuclear terrorist attack on a city , a quicker phase in will occur. They will say “ this new i.d. chip implanted inside the person will:

1.      help us spot a terrorist right away when they go through a scanner at the airport

2.      help us identify bodies of victims quicker

3.      help us locate and catch criminals quicker

4.      help us with data processing

5.      help us buy things quicker

6.      help us have easy access to medical records and other identification (can be stored on the chip!)

7.      help us eliminate or do away with credit cards, drivers licenses, and other cards

8.      eliminate the need for money

9.      eliminate illegal aliens from the country (because they will be unable to buy or sell without i.d.)

 

But what they won’t say is that it will lead to:

1.      help us spot those we want to monitor (i.e. political opponents, religious “zealots”, etc.)

2.      help us take away privacy issues completely

3.      help us process evictions quicker

4.      help us force people to pay bills on time

5.      help us enforce any law or practice, whether unethical or not

 

Ugh…..I just hope I am not here to see this police state when it happens.
