I do not recall the exact date of such interview.  It was one of those evening
News where Paula Zahn had an interview with him and it was years ago.
Perhaps later on, he lost trust in the Lord and opted to use his own resources.
But I do remember as clear as day about him having a hard time facing his younger son and wanting to be alone a lot in his deck or patio and questioning God.
I will not judge the man or say that he is in hell.  I can only hope that Jesus had mercy for him if in fact he strayed.  In the end these things are left to Him to decide.
