THE WONDERFUL SAVIOR, COUNSELOR  .  .  .  .

 We can cry, with Paul,

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.         -  -  Romans 8:28

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it
is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.  I have learned the
secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or
hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do everything through
Him who gives me strength.                                  -  -  Philippians 4:1 1b-13

And so the government will be on His shoulders; and when it is, it is
true that "of the increase of His government and peace, there will be
no end".                                                               -  -  Isaiah 9:7a

They that fully trust Him will find Him able to carry on His shoulder,
not only the government of their own life, but all the things that
concern them.

Wonderful names!  Wonderful Savior, Counselor and Prince. Let us
give Him the increase of the government and enter into His perfect
peace.  Then in a little while we will find ourselves in the glorious
millennial kingdom of His everlasting peace.

There the last enemy will be destroyed and universal nature will at
length be brought into perfect and everlasting accord with His
love and will.  War will cease and strife will disappear.  Sin will
come no more, and sorrow will have passed away. Satan will
be cast out; storms will never darken its sunny skies.

Universal peace and everlasting love, like a golden chain,
will bind the heavens and the earth together in one long
endless kingdom of felicity and peace.
