Several years ago (either 2000 or 2001, I am not sure) I was in contact by e-mail with New Zealand evangelist Peter Kumar.  We had a number of e-mails back and forth from New Zealand to here in beautiful Indiana (where I live).  Peter Kumar had a very powerful vision in the middle of a night that THE LAST SIGN TO WATCH FOR BEFORE THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH WOULD BE THE DEMISE OF YASSIR ARAFAT!  We tend to think, do we not, that the Rapture will be associated with a Jewish feast day?  I know my favorite pick is always Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets.  And yet in Matthew 24 we see that "the days of the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah".  Guess what?  In Noah's day there were not yet any feast days, and, in fact, Israel had not yet come into existence!  Abraham was yet to be in the future!  That would tend to "free up" the Rapture to a non-feast day.  Peter Kumar told me that he did not know HOW Yassir would meet his demise, but that it would happen, and would be followed shortly thereafter by the Rapture!  In fact, he indicated that when Yassir expired, there would be great chaos among the Palestinians, and then UP we Christians go!  Well, don't anyone unpack because we could now be near the Rapture!  Of course, that 'ol rascal Arafat could defy everyone and get better again!
