Sharon: Elections if 'no way out'
Sharon said earlier Monday that he would go to elections if there were "no way out," but said that he did not believe it would be a constructive measure.

Settlers have told the prime minister that they want either a referendum or elections to decide the issue.

"I don't think it's a good thing to hold elections now. I'm not scared of elections, and if there is no way out, there will be elections," Sharon told reporters Monday ahead of talks on the disengagement with President Moshe Katsav in Jerusalem.
