Friends,
 
For the past few weeks I have been considering love. As we know we are to love the Lord and love our neighbors.
 
However, I at times find that we as Christians tend to use this as an excuse to avoid telling someone the truth. Why?
 
The scriptures say that "love rejoices in the truth" and that love "does not rejoice in iniquity".
 
If we are truly loving we will not be silent when iniquity is exposed in fact in Eph 5:11-12 the bible says:

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

A love that loves the Lord and our neighbor does not rejoice in iniquity will expose darkness and rejoice in the truth. Of course we must do this with humility and meekness.
 
This is what I believe.
