Dear friends:
Earlier today I forwarded to you the year 2000 revelation of Pastor Peter Kumar of New Zealand that the "removal" of Arafat, followed by an unspecified period of turmoil, would be the last sign before the rapture.
Today I received two amazing confirmations.
First, I got a telephone call from friend Rev. Ron Patterson in Kentucky. Ron heard about Pastor Kumar;s word at about the same time I did in 2001. He reminded me that shortly after he had received the story he was preaching in a small, isolated town in the mountains of Kentucky. After the service, an older, saintly couple came up to him and said that would like to speak with him privately and get his advice. They found a place to talk. The couple shared with Ron, "The Lord spoke to us both recently but it was a strange message and we don't know what to think about it. The Lord told us, 'Arafat will be removed.' What do you think that means?"
Of course, Ron was ecstatic with this confirmation because there was no way this older couple in the boonies of Kentucky could have heard the New Zealand story. God used them to confirm the message to Ron, and Ron to confirm the message to them. He used their isolated location as dramatic confirmation of the message.
Second, today I also I spoke with Dr. Neil Lipkin in Indiana, the dentist friend who first told me about Kumar. Neil told me that in 2002 he was teaching Bible prophecy at a church as he has done for years and a man in the congregation shared that the Lord had spoken to him that Arafat would be "removed," followed by a period of turmoil, just like Kumar said. That was an amazing confirmation for Neil.
So we have two confirmations, I believe meant for all of us.
While news reports have varied, the latest report says that Arafat will leave his Ramallah compound tonight via helicopter en route to Paris. If true, tonight may be the actual fulfillment of the "removal" portion of the prophecy. I doubt that Israel will allow him to return.
Regardless, after reviewing news reports today, a medical doctor friend wrote me, "Arafat has disseminated intravascular coagulation. As an internist I can tell you this is almost always fatal. It is due to severe infection usually. Treatment is with blood thinners and is usually not successful."
As to a period of turmoil, Israel National News reports today that Palestinian Authority spokesperson Hanan Ashrawi said that "she fears a bitter succession battle, 'and even anarchy.'"
Friends, that's turmoil!
The evidence is that we are seeing the final signs begin to be manifested before the long-awaited rapture of the church.
If anyone wants to shout, go ahead! My theology permits shouting!
