Dear friends:
This morning on TV after discussion of Oral Roberts recent vision, Kenneth Copeland described running into Roberts earlier. He said that Roberts suddenly pointed his finger into Copeland's face and shouted, "This is a wake-up call. Jesus is coming."
Copeland said that he was shaken, and then turned to the TV audience and said that he was now saying the same thing to us: "This is a wake-up call. Jesus is coming."
Copeland said that he has never experienced a wake-up call such as this. He is very serious. This is a very bold and blatant message for a TV ministry. On the subject of the Lord's return, most ministries and churches say little, or just hedge themselves to play it safe, so as to not antagonize their donor base.
Next week on TV, he, Gloria, and Billye Brim will be discussing Roberts' vision, a discussion that began today. All programs can be viewed online at www.kcm.org.
Many of us have been saying "Jesus is coming" for a long time. It is great, and confirming, to see major ministries now proclaiming the same thing. We are getting closer.
Some say there is too much to do for Jesus to come soon, and that the church is not yet without spot or wrinkle. Most conservative Bible scholars say that nothing else has to happen before the rapture. As far as spots and wrinkles are concerned, if Jesus is waiting for the church to be perfect, He will never come. The only thing that will remove our spots and wrinkles is that heavenly spot remover -- the blood of Jesus! Mine were removed 2,000 years ago. Oh, glory!
