Matthew 24:34----Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass away till all these things take place.
 
The events in Matthew 24 christians apply a present day or past historial events to many of the things mentioned in this chapter. The temple stones we allude to Titus destroying. But if we truly understand verse 34 there is only one generation we can apply to everything mentioned.
 
We are looking at the beginning, middle, and end of the Tribulation. This 7 year period includes all these things. We know the day is coming when Israel will rebuild the Temple, sadly this will be unknowingly for the antichrist. The famines, earthquakes kingdom against kingdom, persecution, ect. are decribing events in the beginning of the Tribulation period. Notice how each of these are found in the seal judgements.
 
Matthew 24 decribes the middle of the Tribulation when the antichrist will reign from Jerusalem.
 
Matthew 24 describes also what we call his second coming after the Tribulation when the Lord comes with all his holy angels.
 
There can only be one generation that will see all these things, and that will those those who enter the Tribulation period. Jesus came teaching, his parables all had an end time event understanding. When you apply an end time event meaning to the mysteries of the gospels, we are truly on the path to knowledge of end time events.
