"Test the words of the prophets"
There are many posts here which
praise this or that "prophet" and his "Words from the Lord". We are to
test the spirits behind these words to determine if they are, indeed, from
the Lord. According to the Old Testament, if a prophet spoke words from
God, they were always 100% true. If not, the man was not speaking the words
of Almighty God, and he was to be put to death.( Deut.13:5) Miriam, the
sister of Moses, prresumed to speak for God and was struck with leprosy
for seven days.(Num. 12). If God dealt with false prophets today in like
manner there would be many lepers among us.
Recently several "words" have been
forwarded as if from God by "his prophets". I always see red flags raised
when anyone purports to speak "from the Lord". This "prophet" raised many
flags. Read the article at this link to know the truth behind one of "God's
prophets".
